Kirill Dvoryashin
Editor and data lead — I build and check the numbers behind this site.
I run the data pipeline for CheckMyTow: sourcing towing figures from manufacturer towing guides, cross-checking them against independent databases, range-testing every record, and grading how firm each number is. My background is building data-driven web tools, not selling trucks — so the authority here rests on transparent sourcing, not on a claim of personal towing expertise.
That's a deliberate choice. Plenty of towing pages assert authority they can't show. Instead, every number on this site tells you where it came from and how confident we are in it, and the methodology is written out in full so you can check our work. When a figure is wrong, we want to hear it and fix it.

Editorial standards
- Every vehicle number is traceable to a cited source.
- Disagreements between sources resolve to the lower (more conservative) figure until checked.
- Derived limits are rounded down, never up.
- Pages are dated and re-checked on a schedule; corrections are made promptly.
